Applications of our novel earth-abundant transition-metal catalysis

In general, we are – of course – interested in applying our novel (asymmetric) and earth-abundant transition-metal catalyzed methods in the synthesis of various interesting and useful products. Naturally, this open up the possibility of cooperations with other research groups as well as industry.

One cooperation project is already underway:

• Prof. Willem van Otterlo (Stellenbosch university): synthesis of derivatized naphthyl isoquinoline alkaloids for pancreatic cancer treatment

 

• Prof. Oliver Trapp (LMU Munich): synthesis of axially chiral phosphasilinane ligands for asymmetric catalysis
